UA South Representatives!

The University of Arizona South selected Emily Tinoco, Arianna Buchanan, and Neeila Borquez to attend the annual HACU National Capitol Forum in Washington, D.C. All are highly motivated and passionate about higher education, and take initiative to support and advocate for others. They are actively involved in their school and community, and have an interest in learning how government works. While at the Forum, each student wrote blog posts describing their experiences. Emily's Day 1: ChinaTown


Washington is awesome! It is full of energy ... We went to take a walk around the city, looking for something to eat.. After a 10 - 15 minutes walk, we found the "ChinaTown" in Washington. It has a cool vibe and the food around the area is really good as well. Also, we used the walk to get to know the area and the museams around.
